I'm curious how you arrive at your "tree savings" calculation. Can you please provide the source?

Lewis - No problem. You can find the information on the Conservatree website, specifically on this page: http://www.conservatree.org/learn/EnviroIssues/TreeStats.shtml

Hi,

Most printing is done on A4 size paper and 75% of that printing is for review or draft purposes. You should give a provision to print two (A4 size) pages in ONE A4 sheet. This can be accmplished by printing (two protrait-style) side-by-side on one landscape mode. For example, MS-Powerpoint provides such a facility. I would love to see such facility in Greenprint. Saving would be 50% (and if duplex is used, a whopping 75%)

Also, a facility to selectively remove pictures would be nice (in most cases, the web page we want to print will have 3 or 4 pictures out of which 2 of them will be just advertisements, which we do not need to print.

JS - You bring up very good points. GreenPrint actually does support printing more than one page per sheet, it just needs to be set in the print dialogue box right before sending the document to the GreenPrint preview. That way your preview will also show this change. Same goes for duplex (provided your physical printer supports duplex)!

We will definitely be providing the option in the future to selectively remove images, as we know that would be a great tool to have. Unfortunately I cannot give you a specific date, but know it's in the works!
