Archive for July, 2007

Dan Fost, the author of a fantastic piece the SF Chronicle did a few years ago called “Ink, Inc.”, just wrote a blog and a column about GreenPrint which appeared in the Monday, July 30th edition of the SF Chronicle. I actually happened to read Ink, Inc when it was originally publish (I was living in SF a in 2004) and it really stuck with me. It’s part of the reason GreenPrint’s image removal feature (and I supposed GreenPrint as a whole) was an idea I became adamant about seeing turned into a fully functional reality. If you have a few minutes, take a look at the article. It’s got some incredible printer ink facts (e.g. it would cost $5.9 billion to fill an Olympic-sized swimming pool with HP ink) and a great graphic that compares the price of printer ink to Dom Perignon.
