EverGreen Font Launch!

This blog is way overdue. In all the running around to Earth Day events, and setting up pilots with large organizations on the East Coast, I seriously neglected my blogging. The biggest news of the last few weeks is that we launched a new product. It’s a font, called EverGreen, which was designed to reduce paper consumption by maximizing the number of words on each page without significantly effecting readability. Compared with Arial and Times New Roman, EverGreen reduces paper use by 15-20%. With 3.2 billion reams of office paper used in just the US every year (requiring the harvesting of 178 million trees), a 15-20% reduction in even a small subset of that use would have a meaningful impact…And simply by changing fonts! With that in mind, we’ve priced EverGreen at $10 - a tiny fraction of the $150+ many professional fonts sell for - to make it as accessible as possible. It works on both Macs and PCs. We hope this will be the first is a series of fonts designed to reduce paper use. More news shortly on that front.
